An Important Forum for Capital Markets Participants in the Cannabis Sector

The cannabis sector undoubtedly offers some of the most dynamic opportunities in the North American economy. With the rapidly evolving legal landscape, however, entrepreneurs, investors and public companies that want to capitalize on this growing sector have to know how to navigate the many twists and turns this industry presents.

The Canadian Securities Exchange, along with event co-sponsors MNP LLP and CHF Capital Markets have come together to present an educational forum focused on the process of publicly listing and financing a cannabis company in Canada.

This afternoon session is catered to private and public cannabis companies as well as capital markets and government professionals. Presentations will focus on securities regulation in Canada, financing activity and trends, legal hurdles and risks, accounting insights and considerations for marketing within the cannabis space.

In addition to the above topics, there will also be fireside chats featuring entrepreneurs from publicly listed, and private cannabis companies who will share their perspectives, insights and hands-on experiences.
