Canada’s new stock exchange recorded a new daily traiding record with 116 trades on the day. This activity is more than 30% greater than the previous record set in December 2004. Trading was spread throughout the CNQ stock list with 22 listed companies trading on the day. Value and volume were also large, with over 2 million shares traded for a total value of $771,325.
