Alterrus Systems is focused primarily on the development of the Company’s “High Density Vertical Growth System” ("VertiCrop") designed to produce vegetables, herbs and other plant crops in climatically controlled, chemical free environments in both greenhouse and warehouse structures. The VertiCrop™ grows plants in closely spaced trays vertically arranged on rigs that are moving on an overhead conveyor system. The system is designed to provide maximum light and precisely controlled nutrients to each plant while using no harmful herbicides and presides.
