Jitney is a Canadian company that was founded in 2001 space by a group of market makers and traders who had worked for more than twenty years on the Montreal Stock Exchange floor. Jitney also counts on a group of traders who acts as market makers to Toronto and Montreal Stock Exchange. Jitney also places themselves at the disposal of the banking institutions, brokers, portfolio managers and multinationals, providing institutional desk for execution of blocks of stocks. Jitney is a recognized member of the Investment Dealer Association (IDA) and the Canadian Investors Protection funds (CIPF)
