		Golden Independence Mining Corp. (the "Company") has announced the effective date for the previously announced spin-out of Hilo Mining Ltd. ("Hilo") and the distribution of 1,000,000 Hilo common shares ("Spin-Out Share") to shareholders of the company.

		Based on the number of current issued and outstanding common shares of the Company, it is anticipated that the Company's shareholders will receive approximately 0.016 of a Spin-Out Share for each common share of the Company.
