OSC APPROVAL OF AMENDMENTS TO CNQ ISSUER POLICIES � OUT OF PROVINCE REPORTING ISSUERS<br /><br />
On September 9, 2003, the Ontario Securities Commission approved amendments to the CNQ Issuer Policies that would make companies that are reporting issuers in good standing in British Columbia, Alberta or Quebec eligible to be CNQ Issuers without having to become reporting issuers in Ontario, provided the company does not have a substantial connection to Ontario. The amendments were published for comment in CNQ Notice 2003-001 dated July 11, 2003.<br /><br />
The Commission�s approval is on a temporary basis, until such time as it recognizes CNQ as a stock exchange. Recognition as a stock exchange will have the effect of making all CNQ Issuers automatically reporting issuers in Ontario.<br /><br />
