CNQ Implementation Plans Underway

TORONTO ? The Canadian Trading and Quotation System Inc. (CNQ) announced today that its road show for public companies and investment dealers, kicking off this afternoon in Toronto, followed by Calgary and Vancouver later this week, is one of the many activities underway in CNQ?s implementation plans for a summer launch.

CNQ is hosting an Issuer information session today April 7th, at the Royal York Hotel, Upper Canada Room, from 2-4 pm. On Wednesday, April 9th CNQ?s team will be in Calgary at the Calgary Petroleum Club for Issuer (8-10 am) and Dealer (3-5 pm) events and on Thursday, April 10th in Vancouver at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver for Issuer (9-11 am) and Dealer (2-4 pm) events. CNQ has begun accepting applications for quotation from issuers which ensures that qualified companies will be ready to trade on opening day. CNQ is also working with Investment Dealer Association members to ensure timely access and services are available for traders and investors.
