Robert is currently a member of the North American Life Sciences Capital Markets Advisory Council at McMaster Innovation Park, and previously served for many years on the Ontario Securities Commission’s Small and Medium Enterprise Advisory Committee. Prior to joining the CSE, Robert worked for the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) for 19 years and held senior positions in listed company and trading regulation including: Director, Original Listings, and Director, Market Surveillance. Robert held the position of Vice President, Market Surveillance, at Market Regulation Services Inc. (RS), which was created by the TSX and the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (IDA) in 2001 to regulate Canadian markets. Prior to RS, Robert worked in the mining industry for three years as a mineral economist for a major mining company and an international consulting firm.

Robert holds an Honours B.A. in Economics from York University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, Western University.
