Hema is a finance executive with over 25 years of experience within the retail, consumer packaged goods, telecom, and financial services industries. She has held executive roles in some of Canada’s largest publicly traded companies, including the Loblaw Companies, George Weston, Bell Canada, and Canadian Tire. Hema has extensive experience in internal and external financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, accounting policy, risk management, and controls.

Hema has been actively involved in various initiatives throughout her career, with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and talent.

Hema is a CPA, CA, and holds a B.Comm. from Dalhousie University.
